Sunglint on the Alabama River

.Within this June 26, 2023, picture drawn from the International Spaceport station, sunshine shines off the soft waters of the Alabama River in a sensation called sunglint. When photographing The planet, astronauts commonly capitalize on sunglint's tendency to improve the comparison in between water surface areas and also surrounding land areas.In the 1960s, the Alabama Waterway was clogged, creating Dannelly Tank (the large shining area at center left).
